Temple

New Mayapur was founded in 1975 by Sri Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Acharya-Founder of ISKCON. It houses the only Krishna-Balarama murtis installed by Srila Prabhupada in the Western world.

Ahimsa Farm

Visit our cruelty-free farm! Our cows and goats are cared for with love all throughout their lives, until their natural death. Ahimsa, or non-violence, is an essential part of Vedic culture.

Our Events

Although we are open all week, our Open House Sundays are especially designed to give you a first taste of what New Mayapur has to offer! For a deeper experience, stay over for a Discovery Week-End or a Monk Week.

Volunteering is a great way to meet exciting people, learn about other cultures and build friendships. Set off to discover new experiences with nature!

How to Come

New Mayapur is situated in a haven of peace, amongst the forests and fields of Indre, in the center of France. As such, it can be sometimes a little hard to reach, especially when coming from abroad. Find out how to come right here.
