1-Garden Culture Krishna Balarāma
Located right next to the castle, this garden comprises about 1 hectare of land, 20% of which are reserved for flowers, and 80% for vegetables. However, a large part of this space is dormant, and devotees lack proper tools. Currently, all the work is done manually, the tools being out of use. Up to 20 kinds of vegetables can be grown hereand would suffice to fully support the temple for 8 to 10 months of the year. On one side of the garden is a large greenhouse (50 m long x 7m wide), in which the tomatoes grow as well as various varieties of vegetables for the winter.
2-redevelopment of lakes and ponds
We have two lakes on the property, unfortunately both are currently under to dry… We plan to redevelop them because they are important for agriculture. The small pond, right next to the temple, needs to be dug, ideally using a backhoe and then covered with packed clay. We'll also need to dig an irrigation system to direct the water to the small pond. The large lake, about 1 hectare wide, is located in the centre of the property. This requires a large cleaning, as well as the repair of the dam.
Estimated cost €6000
3-repair of the water tower
Right next to the hotel is the water tower in which the water from the well is pumped and redistributed to the whole community. The roof is deteriorating little by little, which could ultimately affect the quality of the water.
Estimated cost €1500
4-Repair and transformation of the bakery building
The bakery building is a large and old structure, next to the hotel. It currently houses a family of sanctuary upstairs in a viable apartment, as well as a professionally equipped bakery on the ground floor. The rest of the building is dilapidated, and the roof deteriorates. The building could accommodate several families and be used as a professional bakery.
Estimated cost €50 000
